FAQ’S!
What should I expect from coaching? How do I know if it’s right for me, and how do I start?
Coaching is a bold and transformative space. One that is brave, non-judgmental and deeply celebratory. It’s where you will begin to fully see your own power and lovingly explore the blind spots that may be keeping you from the life you truly desire.
You can expect to be fully seen, fully heard, and deeply acknowledged. At times, you’ll be gently challenged to rise into your potential. Through reflective listening and powerful questions, you will unlock new self-awareness, fresh insights, and take inspired action.
You’ll know you’re ready for coaching when you the pain of staying stuck becomes greater than the discomfort of change. When you feel the call for more: more purpose, more growth, more alignment. When you sense there is a deeper experience of yourself wanting to emerge, or when you’re ready to move forward on something meaningful but haven’t been able to do it alone.
The first step? Be courageous and apply here for a complimentary coaching consultation. Your future self will thank you.
How long should I commit to coaching, especially in the beginning?
When I begin working with a new client, the initial commitment is 16 sessions over 4 months. This time frame is long enough to create meaningful momentum and see purposeful results, while still being a manageable and realistic starting point. Of course, you’re always welcome to extend the work after our initial agreement if it feels aligned.
Do you assign homework, activities, or readings between sessions? Why or why not?
Yes! I have a variety of tools, worksheets, and practices that I share to help you reflect and apply what we explore during our sessions. These resources are designed to deepen your insights and support lasting change between our meetings. That said, you are always in choice. How much time and energy you dedicate between sessions is entirely up to you. I’ll offer suggestions, but your pace and level of engagement are always respected. The magic often happens between sessions when you take those small, sweet intentional steps toward the life you are intentionally creating.
How much do you share about yourself during our time together, and why?
It really depends on you. Some clients are curious and find it helpful when I share personal insights or lessons I’ve learned, especially if it feels relevant to what they’re working through. In those moments, I’m happy to share if I believe it will genuinely support your growth. Other times, clients prefer the space to be fully centered on their own journey, and in those cases, I may share very little. No matter what, our time together is always about you. I’ll only share if it serves your progress, and I will always guide the focus back to your experience, your goals, and your transformation.
How participatory are you during sessions?
Very participatory. I am fully engaged through impactful questions, deep reflective listening, and, at times, even intentional (sometimes uncomfortable) silence, designed to create space for your breakthroughs and aha moments. Every part of my participation is in service to your growth and clarity.
How can you tell if you’re benefiting from our work together?
You begin to see yourself, others, and the world through a new lens. You’re taking actions you wouldn’t have taken before, and those actions are moving you closer to the authentic life you want. After our sessions, you may feel energized, lit up, and full of possibility. Other times, you might feel tired or mentally stretched, like your brain is melting. That’s actually a great sign! It means we’re forming new neural pathways and shifting patterns that were previously running on autopilot.
Do you guarantee results?
You and you alone are responsible for the results you create. Coaching is based on the principle that you are the captain of your life, the main character, director and producer of your own movie and that you have your own answers. As such you are doing the reps so to speak. Your coach, whether it is me or someone else will see and know that you are completely capable of creating the life you want. Our job is to support you to see who you really are and what is most meaningful for you to engage with and what might be getting in the way of that engagement.
What’s the best part of this work for you?
Watching my clients’ lives transform and expand! Celebrating their wins, no matter how small, and witnessing them bring their most cherished intentions and visions to life.
